Job summary

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience in rail & transit, signals, communications, train control, or related transportation systems.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and financial performance knowledge.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and support business development.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and technical staff
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures, contractual requirements, and internal standards

A well-established transportation engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to join its Rail & Transit team in Philadelphia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned rail/transit professional to take on a key leadership role overseeing project delivery, client relationships, team coordination, financial performance, and business development across complex engineering projects.

Position Overview

The Project Manager II will be responsible for the successful delivery of mid-scale engineering projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

The role will serve as a primary point of contact for clients while coordinating technical teams, managing project resources, monitoring financial performance, and supporting the continued growth of existing client relationships.
