Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd seeks a Project Manager for structural steel and miscellaneous metals. You will oversee projects from turnover to completion, coordinating engineering, detailing, fabrication, and erection, while leading meetings and site visits.

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years of structural steel experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects ($3M–$10M range). Relocation support is available for the right person.

For more than a century, this employee-owned steel contractor has been designing, fabricating, and erecting the structures that shape the Northeast - commercial buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and the kind of projects people point at and say, \"I helped build that.\"

They operate multiple fabrication shops, several erection operations, and a growing network of offices. They started in bridges. Moved into commercial. And now - full circle - they're back building bridges again.

Growth is happening. And they need a Project Manager who can keep that momentum moving.

The Role

This isn't a desk job. It's for someone who thrives on movement, coordination, and control.

You'll manage steel projects from turnover to completion:

• Review drawings, schedules, RFIs, change orders


• Coordinate engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection


• Lead job meetings & site visits


• Track costs, billing, documentation


• Keep safety, quality, and customer communication tight

Projects range from small packages to major multi-million-dollar builds, with most landing between $3M-$10M. You'll typically run 3-5 major projects at once.
