Job summary

gpac is seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager in Providence, RI to oversee projects from award through closeout. You will coord with fabrication teams, detailers, field superintendents, and clients to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality goals are met.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in misc. metals fabrication/erection, strong knowledge of steel construction methods, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing misc. metals fabrication and/or erection projects.
• Strong understanding of steel construction methods, sequencing, and field operations.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Structural Steel Project Manager

A well-established and growing miscellaneous fabricator/erector is seeking an experienced structural steel project manager to oversee projects from award through closeout. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background managing misc. metals fabrication, erection, and field coordination.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle-ensuring schedules, budgets, communication, and execution remain aligned while delivering successful outcomes for clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Exposure to detailing, fabrication workflows, or shop coordination is a plus
