Salary: GBP80000 - GBP120000 per annum

We are seeking a Traveling Project Manager based in the Greater Philadelphia region to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects ranging from $100K to $40M (with a sweet spot of $3M to $10M).
In this role, you will independently manage 3 to 5 concurrent projects, serving as the central liaison between internal engineering, detailing, fabrication, and erection teams, as well as external clients and field subcontractors.
Full Lifecycle Management: Lead projects from initial turnover through final closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.
Financial & Contract Oversight: Manage project budgets, cost tracking, RFIs, change orders, billing support, and contract compliance.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal detailing, fabrication, and erection divisions to maintain alignment and momentum.
Schedule & Operations: Build and maintain critical-path project schedules, proactively mitigating risks and addressing job-site issues.
Site & Client Engagement: Conduct regular site visits, participate in customer coordination meetings, and maintain strong client relationships.
Mandatory Requirements:
3 to 7+ years of direct project management experience in structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals.
Strong familiarity with both fabrication and field erection operations (preference for candidates with robust field/erection experience).
Demonstrated ability to independently manage 3–5 active projects simultaneously.
Software Proficiency: Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel & Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally based on project needs.
Onboarding Requirement: Willingness to attend a initial 2-day regional training program within the first 2–3 months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with Sage ERP software.
Months 1–3: Comprehensive onboarding covering internal workflows, estimating integration, change-order management, and managing initial small-scale/miscellaneous scopes.
Months 3–6: Mentorship phase working alongside a senior PM on complex builds.
Months 6–12: Full autonomy managing dedicated project portfolios with ongoing operational support.
Long-Term Development: Structured individual development plans, sponsored conference attendance, and specialized technical training.
Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
