This role works closely with general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, internal designers, production teams, installers, and company leadership.

The right candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of problems, and making informed decisions without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage signage projects from award through fabrication, installation, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements
  • Prepare bids, proposals, change orders, reports, and other project documentation
  • Coordinate shop drawings, signage design, submittals, and revisions with internal design teams
  • Plan and coordinate fabrication and installation schedules with production and field teams
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure key deadlines and milestones are met
  • Conduct site visits, signage audits, field verification, and progress reviews
  • Identify project risks, conflicts, and scope gaps and work proactively toward resolution
  • Track project status, open items, approvals, procurement, and installation readiness
  • Coordinate materials, vendors, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources required for project execution
  • Review job costs and project performance throughout the life of the project
  • Negotiate pricing and scope with vendors and subcontractors as needed
  • Ensure work complies with project requirements, applicable codes, and site safety standards
  • Participate in construction meetings and communicate clearly with both internal and external project teams
  • Support installers and field personnel with documentation, coordination, and issue resolution
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing additional project opportunities where appropriate
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Comfortable communicating with general contractors, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under changing project conditions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and use project-management, construction, and production-tracking software
  • Willingness to travel periodically for site visits, meetings, and project support
Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess
  • Previous experience in construction project management, construction administration, architectural products, signage, or a related field
  • Experience working with large general contractors or on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field
  • PMP certification or similar project-management credential
  • Experience with BIM, Revit, Bluebeam, or other construction-documentation platforms
