Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is seeking a Project Manager to lead a major facility expansion and relocation, from the current site to a larger, optimized operations facility. The role evolves from capital deployment and ramp-up to ownership of customer-facing project delivery, coordinating internal teams and external partners to meet milestones.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience leading complex industrial or manufacturing facility projects, with a strong track record on capital-intensive work in the $10M+ range.
  • Solid understanding of equipment installation, facility layout, and what it takes to bring a new operation online.
  • Leadership: Comfortable managing across functions and working with outside contractors in environments where a lot is moving at once.
  • Discipline: Strong command of scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, with a preference for structure and clear accountability.
  • Industry Fit: Familiarity with metal fabrication or comparable manufacturing settings is a plus.

  • Operations Launch: Prepare the new site for a successful start, aligning people, equipment, and workflows so production hits the ground running.
  • Growing Scope: Once things are running smoothly, step into ownership of customer-facing work, serving as the primary point of contact for project delivery.

Job description

We are a specialized mechanical contractor focused on the design, engineering, fabrication, and integrated delivery of process piping solutions. We serve clients across the water, power, energy, and industrial markets, offering a full-service model that spans estimating, engineering, project management, and shop fabrication. Your Role:

The Project Manager will lead planning and execution of a major facility expansion and relocation, transitioning operations from a 130,000 sq. ft. facility to a new 225,000 sq. ft. site. The role initially focuses on facility development, capital deployment, and operational ramp-up, then expands over time to include ownership of customer-specific projects.
