Job summary

Sivers Semiconductors AB in the United States (Kentucky region) seeks a Senior Project/Program Manager to lead cross-functional semiconductor development programs (Wireless, Photonics) from concept to volume production, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of project or program management experience in the semiconductor, electronics, photonics, wireless, or high-technology industry
• Experience managing cross-functional product development projects through multiple development phases
• Strong understanding of semiconductor product development lifecycles
• Proven ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Experience developing schedules, managing risks, and driving execution to critical milestones. MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, Planner, Jira or equivalent and familiarity with industry PLM, ERP, CRM tools

Responsibilities

• Lead semiconductor product development projects and strategic programs from concept through volume production ramps
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource plans, and milestone tracking; coordinate cross-functional teams
• Drive alignment across stakeholders to achieve project objectives, timelines, and business goals
• Manage program risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans
• Lead project reviews, executive status reporting, and stakeholder communications
• Monitor key program metrics including schedule adherence, budget performance, resource utilization, and milestone achievement
• Ensure effective prioritization and decision-making among competing business and technical requirements
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving to address project bottlenecks and execution challenges
• Collaborate with a team of Project Managers to continue to evolve our project execution
• Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, templates, and governance processes
• Support continuous improvement in the PMO organization
• Support adoption of project management tools and digital solutions that improve visibility, collaboration, and reporting

Job description

• To lead cross-functional semiconductor (Wireless, Photonics) development programs (including planning, managing and executing all aspects of Sivers Semiconductors projects, to meet the projects’ goals on time, within budget and at specifications and quality).
• This role also includes driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution excellence across the organization (development and optimization of project management processes, tools, governance, and best practices).

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology, or related field 5+ years of project or program management experience in the semiconductor, electronics, photonics, wireless, or high-technology industry
