Responsibilities
- Lead high-end outdoor construction and landscape projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage.
- Manage project budgets, track profitability, and ensure projects meet established gross margin goals.
- Optimize scheduling, quality control, and material management to drive operational excellence.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors, oversee contracts, and manage relationships to improve project outcomes.
- Develop, motivate, and guide project teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor job performance, enforce safety standards, and uphold the company's reputation for quality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of the company.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction or landscape industries, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- Strong knowledge of project workflows, efficiencies, and industry best practices in construction or landscape management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze job costing, and track financial performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience with ERP or scheduling software (Aspire experience is a plus).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI, CAPM, CSM, or Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) are a plus.
