Job summary

Sirius Staffing seeks an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager for a contract-to-hire position in Whitsett, NC. The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Global Teams to drive NPI, automation, capacity expansion, and process improvements while delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in manufacturing and 3–5 years in manufacturing project management, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
• 5-8 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing project management experience.
• Experience with NPI, automation, capacity expansion, manufacturing transformation, or process improvement projects.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience working with global teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate NPI, manufacturing transfers, production ramp-ups, and capacity expansion projects.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness, including equipment, tooling, documentation, staffing, and training.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and global stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve execution challenges.
• Track KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and project timelines.
• Lead or support Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and priorities to leadership.
