Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a global bank in New York, NY on a 9-month contract with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week). You will manage end-to-end project plans, coordinate with executives, and oversee a smooth transition of media responsibilities to internal teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and about 5 years of PM experience in financial services or banking, with strong meeting facilitation and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project plan management, roadmaps, timelines, and status updates for stakeholders up to executive leadership.

• Lead transition from external agency to internal team, including training programs and onboarding support for new media responsibilities.
• Continuously track project performance, identify risks, manage escalations, and resolve issues to stay on track.
• Create and maintain a definitive playbook for the in-house media team with documented processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management, Communication, Economics, or Marketing
• 5 years of project management experience in financial services or banking.

What you'll be doing

• Accountable for the end-to-end management of the project plan, including the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of project roadmaps, timelines, and status updates to all stakeholders, from the core working group to executive leadership.
• Facilitates all project-related meetings, driving them toward clear decisions and actionable outcomes. Responsible for meticulous record-keeping, including meeting minutes, decision logs, and action item tracking to ensure alignment across all teams.
• Leads the operational transition from the external agency to the internal team. This function includes developing comprehensive training programs and materials, as well as providing direct support to new hires to ensure a smooth and effective handover of all media responsibilities.
• Tasked with continuously tracking project performance against established goals and productivity targets. This function requires the proactive identification of risks, management of escalations, and timely resolution of any issues that may impede progress.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining the definitive playbook for the in-house media team. This involves documenting all operational processes, workflows, and critical decisions to establish a scalable, consistent, and compliant operational framework.
