Who We Are

A leading organization specializing in Building Code and Zoning Law is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team. This is a full-time remote position The role involves coordinating with clients and the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) to secure application approvals, review plans for compliance with NYC building codes, and research records from City agencies. Additional responsibilities include managing alteration projects collaboratively as well as intra- and inter-departmental assistance, as needed.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate with clients and the DOB to secure application approvals.
  • Review plans to ensure compliance with NYC building codes and zoning laws.
  • Research and retrieve records from NYC City agencies.
  • Manage and oversee all alteration projects.
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve project goals and provide assistance as needed.
What You Bring

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or a Class 2 DOB ID in good standing with relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Windows applications, Bluebeam, MS Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DOBNOW.
  • Knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning laws, and expediting processes.
  • Possession of a Class 2 DOB ID (preferred but not required).

Compensation:

Annual salary range: $65k-$80k and bonuses, commensurate with experience.
