Job summary

JASPER Builds is seeking a Project Manager for on-site leadership in the Nashville area to plan, coordinate, and oversee residential and commercial construction from start to finish. You will manage permits, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and inspections to keep projects on track.

You will work with the on-site Superintendent to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement of processes and craftsmanship.

Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Nashville Metropolitan Area, responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining permits, negotiating pricing, managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring materials and inspections are ordered and completed on time. The Project Manager will work directly with the in-site Superintendent to monitor project progress, maintain safety and quality standards, and resolve issues that could impact timelines or client satisfaction. This role also involves regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates, aligning expectations, and thoroughly documenting project milestones. The Project Manager will contribute to continuous improvement of processes and support the company’s standards of craftsmanship and service.

Qualifications
  • Strong project management skills, including Project Management and Inspection, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and maintain quality and compliance.
  • Experience in expediting functions, such as working as an Expeditor and performing Expediting tasks to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordinating suppliers, schedules, and job-site activities to keep projects on track.
  • Background in construction or renovation environments, with knowledge of building processes, codes, and safety practices.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, trades, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
  • Experience using project management and construction management software; ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is highly valued.
