Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure the goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within a given time frame by performing the following duties personally or through coordination of departments. Works with Bandit Client Representative at all times to deliver project. All changes and adjustments flow through the Bandit Client Rep.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understands, abides by, and instills the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Bandit Lites.
  • Establishes expectations of client through the Bandit client contact to ensure accurate project management.
  • Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with project needs such as production, inventory, staffing, and purchasing.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and submits request for assignment of existing and additional personnel.
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan, to assign duties and responsibilities, and project needs.
  • Oversees and supports project through its completion.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule.
  • Prepares project reports for management, clients, and others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Participates in planning project safety.
  • Oversees packing and delivery of project.
  • Keep all personnel on your preps working on task and write them up if needed.
  • Keep all personnel on your preps off of cell phones and write them up as needed.
  • Ensures and enforces productivity and regulatory compliance of project staff.
  • Educates staff on proper practices and touring principles pursuant to the Bandit Standard.

  • Extensive knowledge of concert lighting equipment.
  • Experience using Vectorworks and other CAD software.
  • Deep understanding of the production touring industry.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related event production field.
