Position Details:

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant. You will report to the PMO Function.

Location:

This is a REMOTE opportunity in the United States. Candidate must reside in the US and be work authorized. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Our corporate office is located in Chattanooga, TN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transcard’s Project Management Office is looking for a creative and dedicated individual, to fit within our collaborative culture, who can foster creating innovative payment solutions. The role of a Transcard Project Manager includes challenging your self-motivation and multitasking skills to create and implement multiple projects, while creating and improving processes and procedures. The successful candidate will work directly with other departments, clients, vendors, and partners to ensure deliverables are clearly defined and fall within the applicable scope. You must have technical and problem-solving skills, a professional image, and an acute attention to detail; previous project management skills are a must. While a College Degree is preferred, it is not required if there is applicable experience within the Payments Industry or Project Management field.

  1. Support business growth by assisting in implementing strategic initiatives as set forth by the senior leadership team.
  2. Management of projects aligned with service standards for the company.
  3. Creating and managing detailed project plans, including defining necessary work packages, responsibilities, and key milestones.
  4. Resource planning & allocation ensuring delivering projects on time and within scope and budget.
  5. Delegate project tasks based on department need, individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  6. Coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Point of contact for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
  7. Responsible for/Oversees the creation and management of Project control documentation (RAID logs, Project Plans, Intake Documents, Requirements Documents, etc.).
  8. PMO process and procedure creation, implementation, and maintenance.
  9. Meet with clients/vendor/partners/internal stakeholders to gather and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  10. Responsible for/Oversees the translating of working business requirements into technical specification documents.
  11. Identification, recording and management of all project risks and issues. Reporting these to the business and project-specific stakeholders.
  12. Manage internal and external stakeholder input to Projects and expectations of senior stakeholders and sponsors.
  13. Organize internal and external client kick-off meetings.
  14. Setting client and internal expectations.
  15. Requirements to be outlined to client.
  16. Amended project plan shared with client and internally (measurable KPIs).
  17. Organize and run internal and external (weekly) update calls to coordinate deal execution.
  18. Prepare and present weekly progress reports to inform key management of project status.
  19. Escalate issues and delays in the project delivery to management as needed.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of professional experience successfully delivering multiple high profile, short, medium-and long-term projects against tight deadlines, ideally within a payment services environment.
  2. Experience in delivering business and technical projects.
  3. Able to demonstrate understanding of project life cycle.
  4. Proven experience of managing multiple competing deadlines.
  5. Excellent Stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  6. Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  7. Flexible, adaptable and able to manage ambiguity.
  8. Customer centric mindset with a can-do attitude.
  9. Fully literate in MS Office (including Visio) and Project Management Tools (e.g., MPP, Smartsheets).
  10. Ability to work in uncertainty at pace and ability to work as a team.
  11. Controlling project deliverables by applying project management skills/principles.
  12. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships through exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
  13. Clear communicator with an ability to clearly articulate messages.
  14. Natural problem solver, and experience of root cause analysis and identification.

Education and/or Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  2. Project Management Designation or certifications: PMP, CAPM, etc.
