Responsibilities

  • Review contracts, project drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules to understand project requirements and maintain overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with drafting, engineering, production, procurement, operations, and dispatch to keep projects aligned with milestones and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, engineers, vendors, and internal teams regarding approvals, schedules, changes, and status.
  • Track project financials, including budgets, change orders, procurement needs, and potential schedule or cost impacts.
  • Review shop and vendor drawings, coordinate material purchasing, and assist in resolving production, installation, and field-related issues.

  • Competitive pay: $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience

  • Experience: 0–3 years of construction or project management experience preferred

  • Industry exposure: Civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, concrete, precast, or related construction environments

  • Work environment: Approximately 85% office-based with 15% plant and occasional jobsite exposure

  • Project scope: Manage multiple active projects with responsibility for schedules, budgets, customer communication, and project execution

  • Schedule expectations: Full-time position with flexibility to work additional hours during higher-volume periods


Job Description:

A growing construction products manufacturer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee projects from contract award through final delivery and closeout. This is a true project management role offering full-cycle ownership of multiple projects while coordinating with engineering, production, procurement, logistics, vendors, and customers. This position is ideal for an early-career project management professional who has strong organizational and communication skills and wants to develop within a specialized construction environment. Direct precast concrete experience is not required. The organization is prepared to train someone who brings the right attitude, aptitude, work ethic, and ability to manage competing priorities. The Project Manager will spend the majority of the time in an office environment while maintaining regular interaction with the adjacent production facility and occasionally visiting jobsites.
