Job summary

Camposis is seeking a qualified project professional in Minnesota to support planning, execution, and client communications for utility and construction projects. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and 1–3 years' experience, with PMP certification a plus and gas experience a bonus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
  • 1–3 years in utility, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of construction codes and standards.
  • PMI PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with natural gas is a plus.

Job description

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • With assistance, develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate and oversee all project activities to ensure they align with organizational goals.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles.
  • Assist in leading cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively as needed, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Client Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and expectations.
    • Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Resource Management:
    • Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
    • Optimize resource allocation to ensure project success while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the utility, construction, or manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of construction, industry codes and standards
  • Prior exposure to project management is a must
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
  • Experience with natural gas is a plus
SALARY: 80-90K/YR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
