Job summary

Campos EPC in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Project Coordinator/Manager to help plan and execute engineering projects for utility, construction, and manufacturing clients. You will work with senior staff to develop plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client objectives and safety standards.

This role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a BS in engineering, and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in utility, construction, or manufacturing.
  • PMI/PMBOK knowledge via PMP is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • With assistance, develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate and oversee all project activities to ensure they align with organizational goals.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Assist in leading cross‑functional project teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment.
    • Delegate tasks effectively as needed, providing guidance and support to team members.
    • Ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Client Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and expectations.
    • Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Resource Management:
    • Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
    • Optimize resource allocation to ensure project success while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the utility, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of construction, industry codes and standards.
  • Prior exposure to project management is a must.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with natural gas is a plus.
Salary

80-90K/YR depending on experience.
