Job summary

MG Recruiting Source is seeking a Project Manager – Structural Steel / Construction to lead complex, high-profile projects from planning through installation. The role offers ownership on projects ranging from commercial facilities to data centers and healthcare environments.

Minneapolis preferred, with an option for Oak Creek, WI; strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is ability to manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Structural steel experience is highly valued, but not required for every level.

Project Manager – Structural Steel / Construction

We are partnering with a premier structural steel contractor looking to add strong Project Managers to its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a construction PM who enjoys complex, high-profile projects, significant ownership, and long-term growth. Projects range from commercial buildings and warehouses to healthcare, data centers, multi-story buildings, and sports/entertainment facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Manage projects from planning through fabrication and installation
• Own schedules, budgets, change management, billing and project documentation
• Coordinate with clients, GCs, erectors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Manage RFIs, submittals and project milestones
• Lead project meetings and resolve field/fabrication issues
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

We are open to candidates at the PM I and PM II level, with strong long-term advancement opportunities. For the right individual with significant structural steel experience, senior-level opportunities may also be considered. Senior PMs within the organization take on highly complex projects while helping mentor and develop other PMs.

Location: Minneapolis preferred, with an additional office option in Oak Creek, WI, just south of Milwaukee.
