Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Project Manager for Structural Steel Erection in Milwaukee. You will lead multiple steel erection and fabrication projects from award through completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires at least 5 years’ structural steel experience, ability to read drawings and specs, and strong client relations and communication skills. A related degree is preferred; MS Office and Bluebeam proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience within structural steel.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects for a General Contractor or specialty contractor.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
• Strong organisational, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural steel erection and fabrication projects from award through completion.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, profitability, and cash flow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Produce project progress reports, financial forecasts, and billing updates.
