Job summary

EBZ SysTec, Inc. in the United States (Alabama) seeks an experienced Project Manager for automotive BIW initiatives. You will coordinate project scope, team roles, and milestones across design, simulation, and integration, ensuring cost-efficient delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in BIW/white-body, strong project management skills, and proficiency with CAD/PLM tools. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or automotive fields.
• 5+ years’ experience in white body or BIW processes.
• Proven project management experience with at least one automotive project.
• Proficient in MS Project, Visio, PPT and CAD/PLM tools.

• Prepare presentations about project product, content, quotation, and customer presentation.
• Set up project organization and clarify team members' responsibilities; plan timing per milestones.
• Monitor budget and cost; develop cost optimization strategies.
• Lead risk analysis using FEMA method to keep the project moving smoothly.
• Ensure timely progress, high quality, and cost efficiency; report status to stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end process including design, simulation, and integration; ensure ISO/customer checks.

Job description

• Coordinate and expand the project in the automobile industry
• Prepare presentations about the project product, content, quotation, and presentation to the customer about the project details
• Set up project organization and clarify team members’ responsibilities. Make a timing schedule according to project milestones and plan the detailed work under each project period.
• Monitoring project budget and cost, developing cost optimization to achieve the purpose of saving project cost the considering the customer's requirement。
• Lead Risk analysis of the project with FEMA method to make sure the project can move smoothly.
• To ensure the project’s timely progress, with good quality and suitable cost
• As the main contact in charge of the customers and suppliers, take charge of the internal and external project reports.
• In charge of the whole process, including the design, simulation, and integration
• Report status to ensure the health of the project.
• Responsible for the profit of the project, including project progress and cost reviews
• Realization of checks and releases according to ISO and Customer requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical or automotive-related fields, or mechanical class graduate from a vocational technical college and career in related training
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in white body or assembly work, familiar with Body-in-White (BIW) process.
• Project management experience is necessary; minimum 1 complete project experience in automotive.
• Good at project work software like: Project, Visio, PPT and etc.Basic knowledge of the system software in the computer design and planning, such as CATIA V5, Delmia, eM-Planner, Micro Station, RobCad, Process Simulate, V5 Robotics.
• Good execution, as a representative of skills, and strong organizational ability with a systematic, analytical, and structured way of working
• Good skills in oral and written English, German as a plus.
• Strong sense of team cooperation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
