Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a Certified Project Manager IV/Sr. to lead senior project initiatives across multiple business functions. You will apply predictive, adaptive, or hybrid PM methods and coordinate change management workstreams, guiding executive-level decisions and ensuring timely delivery.

The role is business-focused, not technical, and requires facilitating group discussions, assembling business-focused teams, and tracking milestones to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

The client is looking for:

Certified Project Manager IV/Sr.

Project Details:

This is a senior project management role responsible for managing and coordinating project management activities related to the clientpriority initiatives and projects. The person in this role is expected to apply predictive, adaptive, or hybrid project management methodology and tools to deliver projects. This position also provides advice and assistance to divisional leadership, and to other division administrators and clientleaders on issues of department-wide importance and/or of priority to specific divisions.

The individual in this role will manage both technical and organizational change management workstreams, ensuring smooth transition to operational delivery units. The Project Manager will demonstrate excellent communication with internal and external customers, project team members, stakeholders, and executives.

This is a business focused project manager position and not a technical position.

Must be able to facilitate business group discussions in a professional manner in a decision-making environment.

Responsible for assembling and managing working teams that are business focused. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.

Assists and partners with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities that achieve the goals of the enterprise.

This is a senior role that has responsibility for large initiatives with great impact to the enterprise.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.

Typically, has more than 10 years of program and project management work experience with various business projects.

Experience with projects in multiple business functions that required organizational change is preferred.

As a Project Manager you will "help make it happen" by bringing initiative, imagination, and problem- solving skills to a large organization. To be successful in this role, an ideal individual typically has 10+ years of project management experience with business acumen and a professional Project Manager certification.

Job Duties:

Responsible for helping the executive leadership team develop a departmental strategy and then help define strategic initiatives from that strategy.

Exceptional communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ) to work with a broad spectrum of business leaders effectively.

This project is a business-focused project manager position and not a technical position.

Partner with the Executive team, business sponsors, IT Senior Management, and other team leaders to ensure priorities of the project are understood and managed accordingly for complex technical and non-technical problems are solved.

Must be able to facilitate business group discussions professionally in a decision-making environment.

Responsible for assembling and managing business-focused working teams.

Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and resources to meet customers' needs.

Research new technology and develop business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.

Additional duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

10+ years of Project Management experience along with a Project Management certification, such as the PMP.

Successful experience in team building, managing project timelines and budgets, and producing high-quality project artifacts, such as charter, project plans, and more.

Expert knowledge of business objectives to work with multiple stakeholders to ensure complex problems are solved.

Capable of managing a project or subset of a project with up to ten (10) staff members.

Ideal candidates for this position will be required to have experience in one or (preferably) more of the following areas:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced analytics
• Change management experience
• MS Project experience

Required Skills

8+ years of experience - Increasing levels of project management accountability and assignment complexity, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with business, vendor, organizational change management, and technology workstreams.

8+ years of experience - Demonstrated experience delivering projects successfully with adaptive, hybrid, and predictive project management methodologies, including expertise with stage gate governance.

8+ years of experience - Demonstrated ability to manage and complete projects with measurable success against key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined with the business or program areas at the project outset, demonstrating the project met or surpassed the desired outcomes.

Preferred Skills

Demonstrated experience using the critical path method in project delivery.
