Job summary

KLA Laboratories is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of systems, projects and proposals from inception through client acceptance.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, financial acumen, and leadership to manage multiple telecom projects, ensuring cost, schedule and quality targets are met. Travel to local and out-of-area sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ten or more years’ professional experience in project management in the telecommunications industry.
• Full-time position; standard M-F schedule 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Travel is primarily local during the business day with some out-of-area travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage client-partner relationships to drive overall project inception and progress.
• Interface with clients to determine project requirements.
• Create estimates and quotes for prospective jobs for new and existing clients.
• Oversee installation team to ensure workload balance and productive hours.
• Occasional onsite management to ensure client expectations are met.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse for vendor selection and timely receipt of products.
• Ensure job estimating, quoting, costing and billable hours are on target.
• Attend project status meetings with clients/contractors.
• Adhere to contract and design specs while managing cost, schedule and quality.
• Oversee multiple projects for various clients concurrently.
• Manage workforce safety and production for site projects.
• Travel to local or out-of-state locations with short notice for quotes.
