Job summary

KLA Laboratories is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in San Diego, CA to oversee the full lifecycle of complex telecommunications projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, interface with clients to define requirements, and drive delivery from inception to client acceptance.

The role requires 10+ years in project management within telecom, strategic thinking, and strong financial oversight. Travel may be local with potential out-of-area assignments; normal business hours apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience in telecommunications or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of systems, projects and proposals.
• Interface with clients to determine project requirements and deliverables.
• Create estimates and quotes for prospective jobs for new and existing clients.
• Oversee installation team to balance workload and productive hours.
• Occasionally act as onsite manager to ensure client expectations are met.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse for vendor selection and timely product receipt.
• Ensure costing, quotes, and billable hours align with contract targets.
• Attend project status meetings with clients and contractors.
• Manage multiple projects across different clients within the same period.
• Ensure safety, production, cost, schedule and quality across site projects.
