Auto-Owners Insurance in Lansing, MI is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of small to large projects. After initial training in-person, there is flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week. A strong PM background and ability to present to executives are essential.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, mentor junior managers, and ensure projects meet stakeholder objectives while traveling for meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active participation in project management continuing education preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging project presentations to stakeholders and executives.
• Ability to mentor newer project managers and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects with limited supervision.
• Conduct risk analysis and minimize risk exposure across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet project objectives and timelines.
• Mentor and train newer project managers and senior leads.
• Deliver project presentations to team members, stakeholders, and executives, and participate in ongoing duties as needed.

Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of small, medium, and/or large-scale projects. Work may be performed on a single project or multiple projects at once with limited supervision.
