Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance, a Lansing-based mutual insurance carrier, seeks a motivated purchasing agent to join our procurement team. You will maintain inventory, track orders, and review invoices to ensure accuracy while coordinating with internal partners on special orders.

The role supports an merit-based work-from-home program after initial in-person training and may involve travel to seminars and training classes. SAP proficiency and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year college degree or related experience.
• Experience using SAP.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms, read and interpret documents.
• Problem resolution and proactive communication to improve processes.

Responsibilities
