Job summary

IO Datasphere, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to provide oversight, leadership, and accountability for large, strategic IT projects with executive visibility. You will coordinate a diverse set of stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to keep complex schedules on track.

This role requires onsite presence two days per week in Lansing, MI, with a hybrid work arrangement. Local candidates within 90 miles of Lansing, MI only; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years professional experience as a project manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50+ team members.
• Advanced experience managing Agile projects.
• Advanced experience managing scope, schedule, and project budget.
• Advanced experience with vendor management.
• Experience writing or participating in development of SOW, RFP or contracts.
• Bachelor's degree - a copy of transcript or diploma must be included.

Job description

Our client seeks a Project Manager to provide oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic and complex projects supporting the client’s projects with high visibility at the Executive level. These projects typically have a large diverse set of stakeholders, utilize vendor participation, require coordination of multiple stakeholders, complex schedules, and significant integration with other systems.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

NOTE: Local candidates ONLY. Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI. Relocation not Allowed. Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. 1st round interviews will be virtual, but 2nd round interviews may take place in person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.
