Job Summary

The Project Manager 3 is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and accountability for large, strategic projects and programs with high visibility at the executive level. This role involves managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders, vendor coordination, multi-system integration, and teams of 50+ members, typically spanning over two years.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct engagement with stakeholders and vendors, including executive-level communication and leading monthly sponsor meetings.
• Serve as the central coordination point between product owners, development leadership, and business stakeholders regarding release scope and expectations.
• Take ownership of program and operational functions by designing intake models, defining governance structures, and driving execution independently.
• Provide planning, staffing, and reporting following the SUITE Project Management Methodology and agency prioritization processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure consistency with SUITE methodology and perform long-term release planning aligned with organizational direction.
• Regularly interact with project teams to monitor budget, quality, and schedule status; escalat issues and risks to executives as needed.
• Exercise project quality control to ensure scope expectations are met.
• Work independently in ambiguous environments, establishing work intake processes and governance frameworks with minimal oversight.
• Perform miscellaneous functions supporting overall operations and objectives of the department.

Special Considerations
