Actalent in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning to closeout. This onsite role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, and communications while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will lead meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; develop schedules and procurement plans; review contracts and change orders; and monitor costs to support profitability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendents to monitor field progress, quality, safety, inspections, logistics and issue resolution.
• Identify project risks, resolve conflicts, remove roadblocks, and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, permits, building codes, safety requirements, and company standards.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, project sequencing, contract administration, cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and project financial reports.
• Strong leadership, accountability, organization, decision-making, and follow-through.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, negotiate effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in project management and construction management.
• Knowledge of change orders and project coordination.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
