Project Manager

Type: Full time, Permanent

Location: Remote / travel to East Anglia, Kent, and Lincolnshire

Salary: up to £55,000 + company car / allowance

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

About the Role

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge with a growing and dynamic company? Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in managing electrical installation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in health and safety regulations, risk assessments, managing multiple projects, reading technical drawings, and conducting site surveys for modifications.

Responsibilities

1. Project scoping, costing, contract review, and negotiation
2. Project planning, including engineer resourcing (internal or subcontracted) and pre-requisite engineer training/certification
3. Pre-let meetings and site surveys
4. Project initiation, including risk assessments, method statements, and H&S procedures
5. Ensure project progress aligns with plan and budget
6. Identify and manage variations, including costing, quotes, and client approval
7. Liaise between installation team, back office technical team, and client to resolve technical issues

Essential Skills and Qualifications

1. CSCS/SSSTS Card Holder
2. Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read technical drawings
3. Prince2 / PMP certification
4. Previous experience managing various projects
5. Good knowledge of Excel
