Job summary

LHH is seeking a Project Manager for a Direct Hire, permanent placement with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. You will lead high-visibility projects that drive product innovation and operational performance across the organization.

The team is highly collaborative and values individuals who bring structure to ambiguity, drive initiatives forward, and influence stakeholders to achieve measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Project Management, or Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing is required.
  • Must manage projects end-to-end and drive results independently.
  • Must have experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Hybrid Agile and Waterfall experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting product development or supply chain.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and project tracking tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication across diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in evolving environments and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and documentation accuracy.
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects from concept through completion across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Coordinate activities between product, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams.
  • Define project scope, goals, and success metrics to ensure alignment.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation and escalation strategies.
  • Manage changes to scope, priorities, and timelines as business needs evolve.
  • Drive new product development initiatives from ideation through launch.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project reviews with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, project notes, and status updates.
  • Support vendor selection, onboarding, and relationship management activities.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of project management systems and processes.
  • Track project progress using tools such as spreadsheets and project management software.
  • Assist with high-level budget tracking and reporting of project expenses.
  • Lead supply chain and operational improvement initiatives as assigned.

Job description

LHH is seeking a Project Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This opportunity offers the chance to lead high-visibility projects that directly impact product innovation and operational performance across the organization. The team is highly collaborative and values individuals who bring structure to ambiguity, drive initiatives forward, and influence stakeholders to achieve measurable results. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $78K and $85K per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead multiple projects from concept through completion across cross-functional teams

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Project Management, or Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience within the manufacturing industry is required
  • Must have the ability to manage projects end-to-end and drive results independently
  • Must have experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ideal candidates will have experience supporting product development or supply chain initiatives
  • Ideal candidates will have exposure to ERP systems and project tracking tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
