Job summary

Gaffney Mechanical are recruiting a Project Manager to deliver large mechanical, plumbing and heating contracts across education, commercial and industrial sectors. This is a permanent role based at our head office in Dublin, offering a long-term opportunity.

The role requires overseeing projects from design through to handover, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and client relationship management, with a focus on safety and quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience working in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Agreeing project objectives.
• management of site teams and coordination of labour
• managing project budgets and attending site meetings
• A high level of contractual communication
• Representing the client’s interest.
• Risk assessments and method statements / Health & Safety system and procedures.
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines, contacts, H&S and quality are maintained.
• Monthly forecasting, contract reviews, applications and invoicing throughout the projects.

Your New Role

The Project Managers must ensure that the client’s requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that the company secure repeat work with the client and maintain relationships. Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.

You must have the ability and experience in running large mechanical, plumbing and heating contracts for new build housing and commercial projects.
