Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Inventure seeks an experienced Project Manager for its owner-side construction team to deliver utility-scale power projects, including battery storage pipelines. You will own scope, schedule, and budget, and lead EPC contractor and supplier coordination from pre-construction through commissioning.
You will also collaborate with finance on tax equity and lender diligence while interfacing with utilities, permitting authorities and interconnection activities.
Our client is an independent power producer that develops, builds and operates utility-scale power projects. They hold and operate what they build, so this seat is on the owner's side for the whole project, from pre-construction through commissioning and COD.
Their battery storage pipeline is growing, and they're adding a Project Manager to the construction team to deliver it. Battery experience isn't required. They're looking for owner-side engineers who have run technical capital projects, and they're open to people coming from midstream, oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, LNG, terminals and pipelines. Their most recent hire came from midstream.
The role
You own each project end to end as the owner's PM. That means scope, schedule and budget, managing the EPC contractor and equipment suppliers as their primary point of contact, and making the call on design and field issues with the engineering and construction teams. You build the schedules, budgets and milestone tracking, and you stay ahead of risk instead of reacting to it.
The other half of the job is the part most PMs never see. You work with the finance team on tax equity and lender diligence, and you deal with utilities, permitting authorities and interconnection. So you're managing the people who fund and approve the asset, not only the people building it. That's the side of capital projects that rarely gets handed to a PM at a large operator, and it's where this seat stands apart.
What our client is looking for
Likely backgrounds: owner-side project and capital projects teams at midstream operators, terminal and storage owners, LNG, chemical and petrochemical producers, or renewables and storage IPPs.
Why this seat
You run the whole project, not one piece of it, with direct access to leadership and visibility across procurement, finance and operations. The business is well capitalized with a pipeline of projects ready to build, so there's plenty of work and room to grow with it. Equity comes with the role.
