Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional programs supporting Medicare operations and AEP readiness.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and status reports.
• Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and follow through on action items.
• Oversee readiness activities for enrollment, open enrollment events, and go-live activities.
• Manage interdependencies between business, operational, technical, and vendor workstreams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, issues, and roadblocks; develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and leadership communications.
• Partner with Operations, Product, IT, Membership Administration, Communications, Compliance, and vendors.

TEKsystems sis eeking a highly organized and strategic Medicare Project Manager to support critical Medicare operational initiatives, including Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) readiness, operational planning, implementation activities, and cross-functional program execution.

This role serves as a central coordinator across business, operations, product, technology, communications, membership administration, and external vendor teams to ensure the successful delivery of key Medicare initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced program or project manager who thrives in complex environments, can quickly learn new subject matter, and excels at driving accountability, managing dependencies, and maintaining operational readiness.

Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

• Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional programs supporting Medicare operations and Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) readiness.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and status reports.
• Drive accountability across multiple stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings, document discussions, capture decisions, and ensure follow-through on action items.

Operational Readiness & Implementation

• Oversee readiness activities for Medicare operational initiatives, including open enrollment and go-live events.
• Manage interdependencies between business, operational, technical, and vendor workstreams.
• Monitor program progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and potential roadblocks.
• Develop mitigation strategies and elevate critical issues as needed.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with Operations, Product, Information Technology, Membership Administration, Communications, Compliance, and external vendor teams.
• Coordinate business and system requirements discussions and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
• Support implementation planning, testing readiness, communications activities, and operational launch preparation.
• Ensure end-to-end business processes are understood and incorporated into project execution.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Prepare executive-level updates, dashboards, and presentations.
• Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and dependencies to leadership and project teams.
• Build strong working relationships across departments and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Support strategic initiatives under the direction of senior leadership.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
