Job summary

Codaray Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its Hattiesburg, MS office. You will assist with managing and coordinating multiple commercial projects, communicating with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering and 2+ years’ experience, plus strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software. Join a team focused on integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in construction, design, finance, and management preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a draft of the project schedule.
• Assists with the buyout process of subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Coordinates efforts between the general contractor, subcontractor, and material procurement.
• Completes submittals and RFIs.
• Approves vendor bills electronically.
• Assisting the Project Manager as directed.
