$90-110k plus 10% bonus and great benefits

Summary

We are working with a client seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee HVAC, sheet metal, and mechanical piping construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordination, quality, safety, and successful project close-out.

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, BIM, Project Engineers, and company leadership to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Duties
  • Manage mechanical construction projects from estimating and turnover through completion and close-out, including schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and resources.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and coordinate with owners, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, manufacturers, field teams, BIM, and internal departments.
  • Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and schedules; coordinate procurement, equipment start-up, commissioning, and project turnover.
  • Monitor project costs, labor, schedule, quality, and overall performance while identifying and resolving issues that could impact the project.
  • Lead and support Project Engineers and project teams while promoting accountability, safety, quality, customer service, teamwork, and ethical business practices.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to company leadership on project status, financial performance, risks, and key issues.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, sheet metal, and/or mechanical piping. Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, subcontractor coordination, and project close-out.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, schedules, submittals, and other project documents.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial awareness and ability to monitor labor, material costs, expenses, and project profitability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other project management software, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
