This Joint Project Manager will serve as a liaison between UNT Denton and UNT Health to support and expand collaborative research, education, and innovation activities. The position will work with faculty, researchers, and institutional leadership at both campuses to identify shared interests, connect potential collaborators, and help move joint initiatives from initial ideas to implementation.
Responsibilities will include coordinating the development of joint grant proposals, supporting collaborative research teams, and planning and executing joint research events, workshops, and other activities that encourage interaction across institutions. The Project Manager will also help identify funding opportunities, facilitate introductions among investigators with complementary expertise, and foster new and ongoing collaborations.
The position will develop and maintain systems to track joint grants, partnerships, events, and other collaborative activities. This will include establishing program evaluation metrics, monitoring progress toward shared goals, preparing reports, and updates for institutional leadership, and assessing the outcomes and impact of collaborative initiatives.
The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders across UNT Denton and UNT Health to ensure that collaborative opportunities are communicated, organized, and supported effectively, helping strengthen the institutions' shared research and educational mission.
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
