Role Description The Project Manager role at PROS General Contracting is a full-time, on-site position based in Florence, AL. This role is responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. The Project Manager coordinates with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Daily tasks include managing logistics and material deliveries, monitoring field progress, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues that may impact timelines or quality. The role also involves maintaining clear documentation, preparing status reports, supporting change order processes, and fostering consistent communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications

• Project management skills, including Project Management and experience leading construction projects from start to finish.
• Expediting capabilities, such as working as an Expeditor and managing Expediting processes for materials and subcontractor activities.
• Inspection expertise, with the ability to perform site Inspection and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and specification standards.
• Logistics Management skills to coordinate deliveries, equipment, and resources across multiple job sites.
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial construction, general contracting, or related fields.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, field crews, and leadership, including clear documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and basic office applications.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and applicable building codes; ability to promote a safe work environment.
• Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience is also valued.
