Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks a Project Manager to lead a lab project lifecycle in Englewood, CO. This 6-12 month contract role is hybrid and W-2 only. You will define scope, cost, schedule and quality, and prepare reports and executive PowerPoint presentations.

Requires 3+ years of project management experience with MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Jira experience and lab/project cross-discipline work are a plus.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to work in their lab and manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. This person will be accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. This PM will also be responsible for putting together reports and updating presentations in PowerPoint. This position is a 6–12-month contract to start, hybrid in Englewood, CO. This position is W-2 only. We are not open to working with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Develops project plan and drives project milestones
• Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders
• Provides day-to-day direction to project resources
• Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project
• Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets

Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Specialized knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word
• Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency
• 3+ years of experience

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Jira Experience working in a lab setting

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45-$50 hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
