KellyMitchell Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an App Development Project Manager to lead application development projects from planning through delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will partner with BAs, developers, QA and design teams to manage timelines, coordinate activities, track progress, and drive projects to completion. This is a W-2 role with hybrid work and competitive pay.

Job Summary Our client is seeking an App Development Project Manager to lead application development projects from planning through delivery. This role will partner closely with Business Analysts, development teams, QA, design teams, and business stakeholders to manage timelines, coordinate project activities, track progress, and drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly take ownership, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage multiple application development projects through the full project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting
• Coordinate activities between Business Analysts, developers, QA, design teams, and business stakeholders
• Track project progress, identify risks, and elevate issues when necessary
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Maintain project status, schedules, and documentation using Jira and Microsoft Office tools
• Hold project teams accountable for deliverables and follow up on outstanding action items
• Balance multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
• Present project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Project Management experience supporting application development or software delivery projects
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and timeline management experience
• Hands-on experience with Jira
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience partnering closely with Business Analysts throughout the SDLC
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and application delivery
• Understanding of APIs, web services, or application integrations
• SQL experience
• Experience with ALM or other defect tracking tools
• Exposure to UI/UX collaboration or design teams

Work Environment

Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50 and $60/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
