Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Project Manager in North Dakota to lead commercial and industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has a strong MEP construction background and is proficient with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Accubid, and CS alloy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
• Familiarity with construction/project management software.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage commercial and industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong MEP construction background and a proven track record in managing complex construction projects. They will be proficient in construction technology platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Accubid, and CS alloy.
