Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Construction Program Manager to lead electrical and specialty systems projects in El Paso, TX. You will oversee project plans, staffing, and coordination with suppliers to deliver safe, on-time results with high quality.

Responsibilities include building client relationships, reviewing estimates with the Estimating Department, and guiding teams through bi-weekly performance reviews to drive growth and profitability. Travel 15–20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, OR 5 years of experience in the electrical field and 1 year of electrical estimating experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD preferred
• Willingness to travel 15–20%
• Ability to work typical hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with availability at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
• Successfully pass a background and drug test
• Ability to oversee electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects and staff

• Participate in bi-annual field performance reviews and conduct timely employee performance reviews
• Coach employees on future growth opportunities and establish field merit wage increases
• Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, selection, employee relations, and related matters for direct reports
• Review outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department for accuracy
• Visit jobsites and interact with crews, customers, foremen, and general contractors to monitor progress and encourage safe behavior

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or another related field, OR 5 years of experience in the electrical field and 1 year of electrical estimating experience
