Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electrical and automation/MES construction projects, lead teams, and drive profitability and customer satisfaction. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred.

The role involves travel up to 100% and a typical schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with flexibility to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, PM, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years experience in electrical field and 1 year electrical estimating experience acceptable as alternative.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and staff electrical/automation/MES construction projects ensuring safety, profitability, timely delivery, and high quality.
  • Identify and generate new business; network and maintain customer relationships.
  • Promote a positive company culture and employee relations.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and vendors for material coordination.
  • Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings (ORMs, staffing, jobsite, project manager, financial).
  • Conduct performance reviews and coach staff to support growth and maintain integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR on recruiting and employee relations for direct reports.
  • Review outgoing estimates with Estimating to ensure accuracy.
  • Visit jobsites and interact with crew, customers, foremen, and GC to ensure progress and safety.

Project Manager

Project Managers with Faith Technologies have the unique opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing and constantly changing company. Project Managers are responsible for generating business, providing general management of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects, and overseeing staff. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields)
  • or 5 years experience in the electrical field and 1 year of electrical estimating experience

Travel: up to 100%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical/automation/MES construction projects. Ensures that projects are completed safely, profitably, timely, of a high quality and according to customer expectations.
  • Identifies and generates new business. Networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
  • Works with Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination.
  • Attends daily, weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., ORM's, Staffing Meeting, Jobsite Meetings, Project Manager Meeting, Financial Meeting, etc.).
  • Participates in bi-annual field performance review process; conducts effective employee performance reviews in a timely manner; coaches employees on future growth opportunities, maintains high integrity relations, and establishes field merit wage increases.
  • Partners with Human Resources to optimize recruiting and selection, employee relations, and other related topics as it pertains to direct reports.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
  • Visits various jobsites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
