Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a federal design-build construction sub-contractor in Texas. You will oversee complex, high-dollar projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include leading day-to-day execution, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing RFIs and change orders, and supporting preconstruction efforts with HeavyBid/HeavyJob.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager.
  • Experience with General Contractors or Subcontractors (Electrical, Civil, Steel, Mechanical, or Structural).
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, HeavyBid/HeavyJob.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project execution for large federal design-build construction projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review and markups.
  • Ensure compliance with federal requirements, safety standards, and quality controls.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed using HeavyBid/HeavyJob.
  • Drive projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Skills and Requirements
  • 5-8 + years of experience working as a construction Project Manager
  • Experience working with a General Contractor or an Electrical, Civil, Steel, Mechanical, or Structural Subcontractor
  • oMust have experience overseeing self-perform work
  • Experience managing projects valued over $15m in budget
  • Federal construction project experience: CBP, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, DHS, AF, city/state, municipal construction - Strong Plus
  • Proficiency with MS Project (scheduling), bluebeam, or heavybid/heavyjob
  • Experience managing project cost controls and financials - Design-Build project experience
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Experience supporting border, security, or infrastructure projects
