Inside Edge Commercial Interior Services is the premier name in nationwide commercial interior construction projects, specializing in seamless remodels and refreshes, as well as new construction. For 20 years, we've been the leader in nationwide flooring installation for the Retail and Senior Living markets. Our execution has been conducted at a centralized location utilizing proprietary project management software and third-party sub-contractors called service providers (SP’s).

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager role is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as deep knowledge of construction processes and best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a customer-focused approach and taking ownership of project outcomes. This role reports directly to the Director, Project Management.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Project Delivery Management
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to final delivery, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Monitor progress, address challenges proactively, and implement adjustments to maintain timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless communication and execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Construction Industry Expertise
  • Leverage deep knowledge of construction materials, processes, labor requirements, and equipment to develop realistic project plans.
  • Ensure adherence to installation techniques, timelines, and project sequencing to deliver high-quality results.
  • Stay informed of industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Decision-Making and Accountability
  • Make timely, well-informed decisions to address project risks, resolve issues, and meet objectives.
  • Take ownership of project outcomes, learning from challenges and successes to improve future performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws.
  • Work closely with project management colleagues, contractors, and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment that prioritizes effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Support team initiatives by contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Customer Focus
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment with their expectations.
  • Proactively address customer needs and concerns, delivering solutions that align with project goals and uphold company standards.
EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of project management or construction industry experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering successful outcomes.
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training in the construction industry or related field.
  • In the field construction or installation experience.
