Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from initial planning through successful completion. This role is responsible for project scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and overall project execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically capable, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and project management software is important for success in this position.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
- Coordinate internal teams, customers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Track project progress and ensure deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
- Identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and potential delays and develop solutions proactively.
- Monitor budgets and resources to keep projects on schedule and within established financial targets.
- Provide regular project status updates and reporting to leadership.
- Maintain clear communication between technical teams and project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects meet company standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, schedules, and reporting.
- Manage multiple active projects and changing priorities simultaneously.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and overall execution.
Qualifications
- Project management experience within an engineering, manufacturing, construction, industrial, or similar technical environment.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Project.
- Experience with project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, customers, vendors, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience managing engineering or technical projects.
- Manufacturing or industrial project management experience.
- Construction project management experience.
- Experience developing and managing complex project schedules and resource plans.
