Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from initiation through completion, including schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, operations, business, leadership, and external vendor teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, establish agendas, document decisions, and track follow-up items.
• Communicate project status, risks, delays, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
• Use Jira to maintain project information, track work, and support reporting activities.
• Review Jira data and AI-generated reports to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Perform data validation through source reviews, manual spot checks, Jira queries, and comparisons with existing project information.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting for project and operational activities.
• Identify data discrepancies and work with project teams to resolve inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Support projects across network infrastructure, physical hardware, lab environments, storage, and shared services.
• Assist with business analysis activities, including reporting, data analysis, requirements clarification, and process documentation.
• Adapt project plans and priorities as business and organizational needs change.

Position Type: Long-term, ongoing W2 contract

Position Overview

Our Fortune 500 telecommunications client is seeking a Project Manager to support cross-functional initiatives across network, lab, hardware, storage, and shared-services teams.

This position combines project management responsibilities with business analysis, reporting, and data-validation activities. The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through completion, coordinate across technical and business stakeholders, facilitate meetings, maintain project information in Jira, and provide accurate reporting to leadership.

The team is expanding its use of artificial intelligence tools to automate reporting and analyze Jira data. This individual will review automated results, confirm that the appropriate data sources were used, and identify information that may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Required Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management, business analysis, or combined PM/BA experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking, ticket management, reporting, or dashboards.
• Experience reviewing reports or project data for accuracy and completeness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience facilitating meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across different teams, technical backgrounds, and levels of leadership.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple concurrent assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira Query Language, SQL, or another query language.
• Experience building or maintaining Jira dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools used for reporting, analysis, research, or productivity.
• Understanding of data-validation practices and the limitations of AI-generated information.
• Experience supporting network, infrastructure, hardware, lab, storage, or other technical projects.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors.
• Previous business analysis experience involving reporting, requirements gathering, data analysis, or process improvement.

Interview Process

• Recorded video interview reviewed by the hiring team.
• Onsite panel interview, typically lasting approximately 30 minutes, with the hiring manager and team members.
• Hiring decision following the panel interview.

This position will report to the hiring manager and work closely with project managers, business analysts, engineers, operations teams, leadership, and external vendors. The individual will support multiple teams and projects based on current organizational priorities.
