Job summary

Trissential, LLC seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-visibility capital projects for a large enterprise. You will manage scope, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams using a Waterfall approach to deliver successful outcomes.

You will work in a hybrid model (Denver or Minneapolis) with 2-3 days onsite per week, coordinating with business leaders and technical staff to drive project success. A PMP certification is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct Project Management experience leading enterprise technology projects.
• Experience delivering projects using Waterfall methodologies.
• Background managing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software deployment projects.
• Experience integrating software solutions with legacy systems in large organizations.
• Strong project financial management experience including forecasting, budget management, accruals, actuals, and variance analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams of approximately 10-15 resources.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, Confluence, ServiceNow/SPM, and other project management tools.
• Experience managing vendors, external partners, and project dependencies across multiple departments.
• Excellent facilitation, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience creating executive summaries, dashboards, and visual project communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of complex technology projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and status reporting.
• Drive project execution while ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, stakeholder reviews, and governance sessions.
• Manage project financials including forecasting, accruals, actuals, variance analysis, and budget tracking.
• Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate activities across business teams, vendors, architects, analysts, SMEs, QA resources, and leadership teams.
• Provide clear executive-level reporting and project health visibility.
• Ensure alignment with organizational project management standards and governance processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and support procurement and RFP-related activities when required.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and project lifecycle controls.

• Exposure to Agile environments while primarily delivering through Waterfall methodologies

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred


• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification preferred but not required


• Additional project management, financial management, or leadership certifications are a plus
