About Live EventsLive Events is a national live event production company and AV partner with hubs in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Orlando, specializing in concerts, festivals, corporate events, and sports. Our full-service team delivers stage lighting, professional audio, LED video walls, and rigging for live entertainment across the country. Join a crew that powers some of the biggest stages across the country.Position Summary / ObjectiveThe Project Manager is the nucleus of each project, bridging the sales and operations teams to turn a quoted opportunity into a successfully executed show. This role confirms that the scope of work is accurate, that the show is staffed appropriately, and that the handoff to the warehouse is clean and complete. The Project Manager is client-facing and builds meaningful relationships with clients from project launch through closeout.Role ResponsibilitiesThe following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive. The individual in this position will perform additional tasks as assigned, adhere to all provisions of the Employee Manual, and participate in company initiatives and projects.Project Planning & LaunchReviews the sold scope with the sales team and confirms it is accurate and executable before planning begins.Works with the Technical Product Specialists to confirm system requirements for quoting and pull sheets.Attends site visits with sales, as needed.Leads the project launch once a project is confirmed, setting up the show workbook, Monday.com boards, and production dates in FLEX as needed.Production & Labor ManagementDevelops and maintains production and labor schedules, including call sheets and other crew communications.Reviews labor needs and confirms the show is staffed appropriately.Collects, organizes, maintains, and distributes production documents, including patch lists, preset lists, power plots, and rigging plans.Equipment & Warehouse CoordinationWorks with the Asset Coordinator to confirm equipment sourcing, subrentals, and physical movements associated with the project.Manages the handoff to the warehouse, confirming pull sheets, prep, and ship dates are set.Reviews the pulled equipment at the warehouse, communicating any changes that occur during the pull.Client & Event ManagementManages client communications on-site in coordination with the Sales Representative, ensuring client satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality work.Executes post-event communications; completes Post-Show Report, submits on-site hours for payroll, communicates Gear/Labor/Logistics/Client callouts to the appropriate department lead, and participates in post-mortem discussions, as requested.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office setting, with regular exposure to warehouse operations, and occasional visits to venues, and live events. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.Physical DemandsThe person in this role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and must move about occasionally inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and have routine contact with individuals in the office. The person in this role may need to climb stairs, travel and have the ability to move about both indoor and outdoor venues. This person in this role must be able to lift 15 lbs routinely and 45 lbs occasionally.Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Standard work hours follow a typical workday, with flexibility required for evening and weekend work during high-volume periods. All breaks and lunches will comply with local, state, and federal laws. Overtime is compensated in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.TravelThis position requires travel, up to 20% of the time. Travel will be mixed, local and outside the local area and overnight.Required5+ years of experience in Project Management with a focus on live entertainment.Display a client-friendly and vendor-facing attitude and provide excellent customer service, while building professional relationships.Strong knowledge of entertainment industry practices, dynamics and best practices.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Working knowledge of signal flow and systems across audio, lighting, video, and rigging.Strong technical foundation in one or more disciples (Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging)Experience managing project budgets, labor costs, and subrental spend.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related on site experiencePreferredFLEX, Google Workspace, and Monday.com are preferred.
