Job summary

Unknown Engineering Consultancy in Dallas–Fort Worth seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater design and delivery. The role focuses on scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams across North Texas.

You'll mentor engineers, develop design reports, and maintain client relationships with municipalities and utilities. A PE license in Texas or reciprocity is preferred, with a Civil/Environmental engineering degree required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Water/Wastewater engineering and design.
• Strong municipal water and wastewater infrastructure background.
• Experience with pipeline, collection/distribution system and/or pump station projects.
• Strong client-facing and project management capabilities.
• PE license in Texas, or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including Water distribution and wastewater collection systems, transmission pipelines, pump stations and storage facilities.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare and review design reports, plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• Maintain relationships with municipal and utility clients.
• Support proposals, project pursuits and business development activities.
• Mentor Project Engineers and junior engineering staff.

We are representing a leading engineering consultancy that’s looking to strengthen their Water/Wastewater team with an experienced Project Manager in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This position will take a lead role in the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects across North Texas.

Salary

$130,000-$180,000 DOE + Benefits

Job Specifications

Lead the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including:

• Water distribution and wastewater collection system
• Transmission pipelines, interceptors and outfalls
• Pump stations and lift stations
• Storage tanks and reservoirs
• Water and wastewater treatment infrastructure
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and technical deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery
• Prepare and review design reports, plans, specifications and cost estimates
