Overview

A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The role supports development build activities for System Engineering Project Services (EPS). It's responsible for managing procurement-related activities, coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring accurate tracking of budgets, materials, and prototype builds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide development build support for System EPS projects.
• Track prototype units with vendors to ensure accurate delivery, status, and disposition.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to support build schedules and project milestones.
• Actively manage budget purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, costs, and approvals.
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts and purchasing documentation.
• Coordinate shipments, including international logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, materials, and vendor transactions.
• Track and manage prototype materials and excess inventory.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure secure destruction of excess materials and prototypes.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies related to asset handling and security.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in engineering operations, project coordination, procurement, or a related role.
• Experience supporting engineering builds or development programs preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
